About QR Genie

QR Genie is a free, no-sign-up QR code generator built to make professional QR codes accessible to everyone — from small business owners printing menus and flyers, to designers preparing assets for client packaging, to teachers sharing class resources and creators linking their social profiles.

Our mission

Most QR code tools push you toward an account, a subscription, or a tracking redirect that can disappear when the service shuts down. We wanted the opposite: a tool that produces static QR codes you fully own, that scan offline, and that keep working forever. No expirations, no watermarks, no upsells.

How QR Genie works

Everything runs locally in your browser. When you type a URL, paste text, or build a vCard, we encode the data directly into the QR matrix using standard ISO/IEC 18004 QR Code symbology with error correction. We render it as crisp SVG (perfect for print) and can rasterize a high-resolution PNG, embed it in a PDF, or output an EPS file for designers using Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Affinity.

Who we are

QR Genie is an independent project. We don't sell your data, because we never receive it — your content is encoded entirely on your device. The site is supported by non-intrusive advertising so we can keep the tool free for everyone.
