This Privacy Policy describes how QR Genie ("we", "us") handles information when you visit qrgenieapp.com (the "Service").

1. The content you put into a QR code

QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. The text, URL, contact card, phone number, email address, or logo image you enter is never uploaded to our servers, never stored in a database, and never shared with third parties. When you close the tab, that content is gone.

2. Information we do collect

  • Standard server logs — like most websites, our hosting provider may log IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request paths for security and abuse prevention. These logs are rotated and not used to build profiles.
  • Analytics — we may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count page views and understand which features people use. We do not sell this data.
  • Local storage — we use your browser's localStorage to remember your language preference and your cookie-consent choice. Nothing in localStorage is sent to us.

3. Advertising

QR Genie is supported by advertising. We may use third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense, to display ads. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
